Personal data you provide

We collect data you provide to us. This includes information you give when starting any treatment or, registering, placing an order or, communicating with us. For example:

  • personal details (name, date of birth, email, address, telephone etc.) when you make an appointment or, have your initial treatment consultation with us;
  • Medical history information (the medical history information you provided at our initial treatment consultation; and your skin type according to the Fitzpatrick Skin Type test which is used for treatment purposes to determine how your skin reacts to UV light.
  • Details of each treatment you have with us ( type of treatment e.g tattoo or hair removal, Carbon laser facial or massage therapy, the settings used and results together with photographs of the treatment before and after treatment.
  • Details of your next of kin (such as partner in case we ever needed to contact them for you if you were to become unwell during an appointment).


If you purchase a Skin Beautiful Limited gift voucher as a gift for someone else, your details will be recorded (as will the recipients) and your relationship to that person will be recorded.

Information we generate

From time to time we analyse the information we hold, which can in turn generate personal data. For example, we may be able to build a profile which helps us decide which of our communications are likely to interest you.


Information from third parties

We may in the future receive personal data about individuals from third parties. For example, if we are partnering with another organisation (e.g. you provide your information to another company we’re collaborating with on a project). Also, we may use third parties to help us conduct research and analysis on personal data (and this can result in new personal data being created).

What does ‘marketing’ mean?

Marketing does not just mean offering things for sale, but also includes news and information about:

  • our services, treatments, charity work, campaigns and relevant information;
  • products, services and offers (our own, and those of third parties which may interest you);
  • taking part in projects (e.g. industry communications and new legislation.
  • Examples of client testimonials and thanks.



We won’t knowingly send marketing emails, letters, calls or messages to under 18 year-olds and, in order to receive any Skin Beautiful Limited treatment, you need to be an adult.


All data is in either locked cabinets or is password protected. This is ensure your data is kept safe and to prevent unauthorised access to, or use or disclosure of your personal information.

Electronic data such as our database is stored on secure password protected computer. No one outside of Skin beautiful limited has access to any of the information (using both physical and electronic means).

How long we store information
